LONDON ROCKS

Joanna masterminded a wholly new venture at Sotheby’s, entitled ‘London Rocks’. Began in October 2006, Sotheby’s London hosted a pioneering selling exhibition of contemporary jewellery in aid of Breast Cancer Haven. Seventeen artist/jewellers who are predominately London based, were invited to showcase their specially designed pieces for public sale. In many ways London Rocks worked exactly like a Contemporary Art exhibition; allowing original, progressive, fashionable and most importantly, collectable artists to showcase their work and expose it to a wider audience. The event took place again in 2007 which was in aid of the NSPCC.
