Gemfields’ Kagem: The Largest Producing Emerald Mine

In November 2019, I had the incredible privilege of visiting Gemfields’ Kagem Emerald Mine in Zambia – the largest emerald mine in the world. Witnessing the skill and dedication that goes into mining these rare gemstones gave me a whole new appreciation for their beauty. To make the trip even more unforgettable, I had the chance to embark on a safari, spotting elephants, hippos, and lions in their natural habitat. It was a journey of colour, nature, and pure wonder.
